SOME RECIPE SUGGESTIONS


"The Basic" Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers with Bacon
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
2 cup cream cheese
2 tsp salt
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Sprinkle inside of peppers with salt. Fill each pepper with cream cheese and cover with 1/2 strip of bacon using a toothpick to hold in place. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.

Shrimp Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
12 shrimp (one for every pepper)
2 cups of cream cheese
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Shake some habanera powder and salt on peeled shrimp to taste. Stuff each shrimp head first into the waiting Pepper. Fill up remaining pepper cavity with cream cheese. Top the pepper with the Bacon slice and secure with tooth pick. Cook at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.


Crab or Lobster Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup minced crab or lobster
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 egg
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Mix the crab or lobster, butter, egg and salt in a bowl. Fill Peppers with mixture. Top the pepper with the bacon slice and secure with tooth pick. Cook at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.


Cordon Blue Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup diced cooked chicken
1/2 cup Monterrey Jack cheese
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and stuff in Pepper. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.


New Orleans Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1/2 cup of crawfish
1/2 teaspoon of Creole or peppered mustard
1/2 teaspoon of Cajun spices
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and stuff in Pepper. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.

 

Pizza Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
12 Pepperoni slices or your favorite pizza toppings
1/2 cup of mozzarella Cheese
1 can of tomato sauce
Italian seasoning

Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning inside and place 1 pepperoni in each. Fill 3/4 full with tomato sauce and sprinkle cheese on top. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Relleno Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1 package of Cornbread mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup Super Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Mix up the cornbread and fill the Peppers half full. Add cheese and a little salsa on top. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Patrick's Dove Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
6 raw dove breasts
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Clean the dove and gently slice each breast off of the dove giving you 12 pieces of meat. Mix the cheddar cheese and cream cheese together in a bowl. Stuff each of the 1/2 dove breast in each pepper filling the rest with the mixed cheese. Top the pepper with the bacon slice and secure with tooth pick. Cook at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.


"Cobb Salad" Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup of frozen or fresh spinach cooked and drained
1/4 cup of blue cheese
1/4 cup of cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of beacon bits

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and stuff in Pepper. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.

Jumbo Shrimp wrapped in Bacon
12 seasoned Jumbo Shrimp
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Simply wrap the bacon around the jumbo shrimp and hold in place with a toothpick. Place shrimp on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.


Oyster Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
12 oysters, off the shell, chopped
1 onion, small, peeled, chopped
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1 egg

Mix the bread crumbs, chopped oysters, onion, egg and seasonings together. Stuff the peppers with the mixture. Grill or bake/broil the peppers for about 1/2 hour at 350 degrees F.


Italian Style Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
2 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon dried Italian Seasoning, crushed.
Guacamole and/or dairy sour cream

Stir together cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Italian seasoning in a medium mixing bowl. Spoon some of the cheese mixture into each pepper. Grill or bake at 350 degree F. for about 1/2 hour. Serve with guacamole or sour cream.


Breakfast Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
2 eggs
12 pieces of sausage or sausage links
1/2 cup of cheese

Whip up the eggs and fill 3/4 full of scrambled egg mixture and put in a little smoky with a little cheese on top. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Meat Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
2 cups of your choice of meat

Put your choice of meat (beef, sausage, ham, etc.) in the Pepper. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.

Peanut Butter Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
2 cups of your choice of peanut butter

Put your choice of peanut butter in the Pepper. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.


"Hill Country" Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Herb and Garlic seasoning
1 egg beaten well
12 strips of ham

Mix all ingredients together and stuff in Pepper. Place 1/3 piece of bacon on top and secure with a tooth pick and grill. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.

"Old Stand By" Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cups of cream cheese
12 breakfast sausage links or patties

Fry up the sausage, drain, and while it's still hot, mix in the cream cheese. Fill each pepper with cream cheese mixture. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Tuna Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup of diced Tuna
1 fresh squeezed lemon
1/2 table spoon of garlic lemon pepper
1/4 cup of tarter sauce (optional)

Cook Tuna thoroughly and place in bowl with all spices and sauces. Don't forget to squeeze the lemon.
Fill each pepper with mixture. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.


California Sushi Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
1/2 cup of white rice
1/4 cup of dice avocado
1/4 cup of dice crab
12 slices of cucumber

Cook the white rice following the direction on that box. Put the avocado, crab, and cucumber slice into the pepper topping off with the white rice. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour.


Sirloin Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
6 oz of Sirloin
2 cup cream cheese
2 tsp salt
6 slices of bacon cut in half

Sprinkle inside of peppers with salt. Fill each pepper with a strip of sirloin, cream cheese and cover with 1/2 strip of bacon using a toothpick to hold in place. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Mushroom Caps
12 fresh cut mushroom Caps Center holed out
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1/4 cup of black olives

Hole out top center of mushroom. Fill each mushroom with cream cheese and black olives. Place mushrooms on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.


Fajita Chicken Stuffed Peppers
12 fresh jalapeños (with top, seeds and membranes removed)
6 oz of marinated cooked chicken breast
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of sour cream
2 tsp salt

Sprinkle inside of peppers with salt. Fill each pepper with a strip of chicken, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Place peppers on grill over medium heat (350 degrees) and cook for 1/2 hour or until cheese is golden brown.
